Your complete guide to navigating, discovering resources, contributing, and getting the most out of the Learnix learning platform.
Start ExploringEverything you need to begin your Learnix journey
Visit the Learnix homepage at the root URL. You'll see featured courses, site announcements, and quick access to all sections.
The top navbar and mobile bottom bar let you jump to Courses, Hub, Contributor Panel, Admin, and more. Tap Menu on mobile for full options.
Use course search on the dashboard or resource search inside the Hub to quickly locate notes, videos, playlists, and books.
Learnix uses a beautiful dark theme throughout. The Hub and Leaderboard pages are always dark for a premium feel and eye comfort.
How to find and access course materials
Go to Courses from the navbar to see all available courses organized by department and semester.
Use the search bar on the dashboard to filter by course name, code, department, or semester number.
Click any course card to open its Resource Hub — displaying all notes, videos, books, and practice materials.
Each course shows its code, semester, department, and contributor count so you know how well-supported it is.
The Hub highlights recommended resources at the top, curated by contributors and admins for that course.
Use the "Missing anything?" section at the bottom of the Hub to request topics or resources for that course.
Filter, save, vote, and preview learning materials
Use the pill tabs at the top (Notes, Videos, Playlists, Practice, Books, etc.) to filter resources by type in one click.
Tap the Filter button to filter by department, semester, difficulty level, or tag. Combine multiple filters for precise results.
Click the bookmark icon on any resource card to save it. Access all saved items later from the Saved Items page or sidebar.
Upvote resources you find helpful. Resources with more upvotes appear higher in "Most Useful" sorting and in the Leaderboard.
PDF notes open in a built-in viewer — no need to download. You can also open the PDF in full screen for comfortable reading.
If a resource is outdated, broken, or inappropriate — click the report icon on the card to flag it for admin review.
Submit resources and help fellow students learn
Go to the Contributor Panel and log in with your Google account. New contributors can sign up instantly — no manual approval needed.
Before submitting, read the Contributor Guidelines to understand quality standards, file types, and naming conventions.
Use "Add Resource" in the sidebar. Fill in title, course code, type (PDF/Video/etc.), link or file, tags, and difficulty. Submit for review.
Your dashboard shows all submissions, their approval status, and total impact (views, saves, upvotes) across your published resources.
Top resources and contributors by engagement
The leaderboard ranks the 10 most viewed resources across all courses. This updates in real-time from Firestore.
Top 3 positions get special gold, silver, and bronze glow effects. Ranks update automatically as views grow.
Contributors are also ranked by how many approved resources they have. Submit quality resources to climb the ranks!
Click any row on the leaderboard to jump directly to that resource in its course Hub.
Bookmark resources for quick access later
In any Resource Hub, click the bookmark icon on a card. It turns filled (active) to confirm it's saved. Saves are stored locally in your browser.
Open the sidebar menu and tap Saved Items, or use the bottom nav on mobile. This page lists all your bookmarked resources organized by course.
Click the bookmark icon again on any saved resource (it will unfill) to remove it, or use the remove button on the Saved Items page.
